About Me

I'm a writer and artist, American raised, European based (currently Berlin).

I grew up in a quiet Connecticut suburb with an overactive imagination and a hyper-energetic disposition. After taking time off from college, I followed a dream to Paris to learn French. Needless to say, being a 20 year-old alone in a foreign country did A LOT to fuel my imagination and creative direction. It's there that I enrolled in an acting class and discovered a love of performing.

Returning to the U.S., I finished my college years in New York City, splitting my studies between French and Theater and, afterwards, went to London for six months of "work experience". Afterwards, I landed back in New York City where over the next decade I threw myself into acting. Oh, and a dozen other odd jobs when not acting, including film production and working as a project manager for marketing and event agencies.

In my early 30s, I discovered that my real passion was not in front of an audience, but behind the camera. Add to that my frequent daydreams of returning to far off places, and, well, here I am in Berlin. Now, I focus on writing screenplays while freelancing as a copywriter and strategist for clients and agencies. Recently, I started this website to rein in all my creative projects—from the photography I've done for years, the videos I make off and on, to my more recent digital collages.

And this is only the beginning.
